V bonusovém Balastu pod čarou v anglické verzi vybočíme z řad obvyklých hostů a k epizodě o sociologii jsme si na rozhovor pozvali hostující vyučující dr. Dawn Norris z University of Wisconsin. Věnujeme se jejímu výzkumnému záměru, jímž je srovnání přístupu k práci v Česku a Spojených státech a to, jakou roli hraje v identitě lidí práce.

 

In the bonus Balast pod čarou (Ballast Below the Line), we break from our usual guests and invite guest lecturer Dr. Dawn Norris from the University of Wisconsin to talk to us about sociology. We focus on her research project, which is a comparison of attitudes towards work in the Czech Republic and the United States and what role work plays in people's identities.
